Tonight, our PBS stations, WCNY is showing "Fannie's Last Supper." No matter what you think of CK, this is really quite interesting. If you haven't seen it (I hadn't) try to catch it. I will never complalin about the difficulty of getting stuff with which to cook.

FYI, stick to the television show -- the book was a real disappointment (luckily I got it free from LibraryThing as part of their reviewer program). Typical was Chris's comment that in November in the Northeast people think of hunting rather than Thanksgiving. Having lived here 30 plus years I've met two people who hunt but no one who doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving--that rather unscientific approach to facts typifies the book.
