Laurie, I'd love to, but everything is a logistical nightmare between the baby, Patrick's schedule, and being a one-car household. If you and Todd set a date, let me know and I'll see if I can swing it.

Yes, I would like to go. I will look into more of the details at the Flint Institute of Arts Website.

I just looked at the FIA site. They will be showing the movie on Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of April at 7:30 P.M. On Sunday the 29th, they have a 2:00 matinee. On the 28th, starting at 5:00, the will be having Sushi and then show the movie. The cost is $50.00 and includes the movie. The regular price of admission is $6.00

Wondering if anyone here has seen the movie: http://www.magpictures.com/jirodreamsofsushiJiro Dreams of Sushi It's been out for a couple weeks, not very many theaters are showing it. My Japanese language skills are pretty bad, so I have trouble keeping up, so I'll have to rely on the subtitles. No doubt I'll get the DVD when it becomes available.

There were a few adverts for it on cable here in the Philippines but I can find no links to it showing here anywhere. Last night the bro-n-law culinary student came home with his first "sushi" attempts in school. Didn't look too bad at all.

Laurie and I are planning to go see it on the 28th. It is playing at the Flint Center for the Arts. In all of Michigan, I think I only saw that it was playing in 4 cities.
