...but regarding people's habits, I see your point. It's a slow fight to be sure. I think my pessimism stems from working in an office where we see the worst in people (tax cheats, pedophiles, drug traffickers, etc.). It bleeds over to my overal outlook on the human race.
Another problem is that there is a huge lobby in Big Agribusiness getting things passed like no labeling of the ammonia in ground beef...but of course many people thought Big Tobacco would never fall either. Maybe there is hope.
