Chicken feet stock is delicious, but I hate the way they seem to rise accusingly out of the pot, pointing at me with their toes. "yooouuuuu. YOOOOOUUUU!"

thanks all. I will ask butcher is they have feet to add to the tips. I know I could (and do) save the bones but the bags migrate all over my large chest freezer and it's a PITA to try and find all the bags. Keep saying I'm going to get one large tub for them but have never done that. The thought of being able to forgo that entirely is tempting. Tim, what was it your wife said thinking twice about giving a bone to the dog? Still makes me laugh!
There are days when I feel I am ready for the stock pot.
My stock tip is to add some curry powder, this gives a nice color, some heat, and a little flavor.
I do love the new Cashmere Crumudgeon (CC) moniker. It sounds like the Galloping Gourmet. How did he get that nickname anyways?
Had a revelation the other day, have never been able to find a round rack as the CC demonstrates. I finally saw them at Ace in the bbq section, as a round rack to go on a small round grill. So if anybody is having trouble finding a round rack, check out the bbq dept.
