Folks,
Every once in a while I get a half&half carton which just won't pour. I don't know why exactly, but it splops and dribbles instead of pouring, making a big mess in the mornings. Eventually I throw it out and buy a new one.
Anyone know how to fix a bad carton?

I've had the same thing happen - the glue is just wrong and won't open properly, resulting in a big mess. I usually put the cream in another container, or I have been known to take it back to the store and return for another.

Trinket,
This one actually looks ok. Just won't pour properly. Edge is wrong or something.

Cut the top off with your kitchen shears and pour into a cream pitcher or jar. I hate it when things don't work like they should. I've had this problem lately, too. Fitzie

Yeah, I just cut the thing open and go from there.

I just don't buy half-and-half in cartons.

Just don't buy half and half . Coffee was meant to be drank black! Ok, I'll admit I have a cappuccino every morning, and my wife takes milk in her coffee, but she only started drinking coffee in the last while, so she is still a coffee baby.

Some of the brands around here come in cartons with a screw top opening so you don't have to mess with trying to open the carton...
