Most recipes say 3 days in the fridge or to freeze but we made some last sunday and just found it in the freezer. was planning on making pumpkin pasties (Harry Potter Cookbook, can you tell that this was not my idea?) and it didn't work out and then forgot about it in the weeknight drama. I can't see why it would go bad.....any ideas? |

I always freeze half of what I make and somtimes don't use it for 3 months and it is fine. 3-5 days in the refrigerator is my rule, and up to 3 months in the freezer. ilene |

Once it's started to go gray it's too old. If well wrapped, they hold well in the freezer for a long time. |

thanks, I'll take a look at the colour and make a decision. My youngest is quite the aspiring cook, which I want to nurture, so I don't want to attempt it if there's not a fair chance of success. |

I agree with Becky, but find gray only happens in the fridge, not the freezer. Amy |
