A friend with grandchildren was extolling the virtues of the following: for the Nintendo DS, the Personal Trainer series re: Cooking - http://personaltrainercooking.com/. The gist of this was that if an instruction in a recipe was perplexing, the user could simply request more details ("dice the carrots" would be further explained with a shortcut to knife techniques, etc.).

I have no experience with this but child in question is 7 and cooking up a storm, from scratch, with good results! AND, he is excited!!

Does anyone have more knowedge on this or can you recommend similar software???? :shock: :o
