Hubby visited the Union Square Farmers Market in NYC while on an overnight business trip and brought my back some goodies including rocambole garlic. Anything special to do with this garlic besides cook with it?

Ivy,
Something requiring a lot of garlic, I imagine.
Pasta aglio e olio? Bagna Cauda?

I hope he didn't buy all of that. They are not known for storing well (around 2 months), probably because they peel easily - one good point, besides their delicious flavor.
Besides cooking with it, the only other thing I could think of to do with it is plant it, and it is just about time in your area (about 3 weeks left for me). And rocamboles need a deep freeze, which I'm sure you get in your area. I learned this the hard way when I once planted Spanish roja in a mild winter, and it didn't even form heads!

Heavens, no, he only bought a few bulbs! Never thought of planting it. Thanks for the suggestions.
