:P Lamb chops
I am making lamb chops tonight & am looking for a nice sauce to serve with the lamb. I have lamb stock, so that can be used, but I am looking for some other flavor to be added.

Kathy,

As you can imagine, I'm not much help. However, the most recent issue of Saveur has a longish article on brown sauces with several recipes. Or you could consult James Petersen's Sauce.

Thanks, Fuzzy. Didn't expect a recipe from you on this subject!

Well mint does go well with lamb, and I've done my own mint flavored apple jelly.

Late to the party here Kathy, what did you do? Lamb seems good just sort of unadulterated, maybe with a good sear or char from a grill, and the simple stuff on it - olive oil, garlic, rosemary. We did a lot of lamb kebobs this summer (got them from the farmer's market). You could try that with some of the lesser known cuts you got from your animal. We started them on a medium gas grill, then finished in the oven.

Hi EB
Actually we had pasta with home made chicken, basil & sun dried toms sausage. Tonight we will have the lamb. I think I'll just broil or pan fry. Will have some baby bok choy with it.
