Where is a good starting point to find duck fat? I have friends who are extolling the wonderfulness of 'duck fat popcorn'

Upmarket grocers often have it. Even here in ottawa there are a few places to get it. Or a duck farm

Our grocery carries D'Artagnan products in a small section of the meat aisle, including duck fat. |
