I'd complain to CI. I doubt that Apple has anything to do with it.

It probably is CI's fault, but I'd complain to Apple. They have enough lawyers to make CI cease with their shenanigans.

I would vote for normal and would not be concerned until the first of October has come and gone. Print magazines are not in homes before the first of the month prior to the cover date expect that the Ipad issue may have a similar "publication date".

I complained to apple. I paid for the subscription through my iTunes account, so I figured that would be the route to have it addressed. I wish CI would get their act together though. I had high hopes for the app, since all other magazines work really well through it (and I don't have paper copies piling up around the house). Fine cooking actually gives free app subscription copies to their web and/or print subscribers, going back as far as they have digital copies available, and everyone else's monthly deliveries come without a hitch. Doesn't make or a great comparison I'm afraid.

Jim, hopefully you're right. I'm sure apple will check into it and let me know what's going on.

Hmmm, apple says they don't know what's going on, so they have refunded my money. I would rather have the issue, but I'll take what I can get I guess.

It appears that the Ipad version of CI started shipping yesterday. The previous issue had an availability of August 7 so they are improved on that by two days for a fairly new product. As long as there is no further improvement and I can still get my paper copy [It came the 4th] before the electronic copies go out, I will be happy.

Great Issue BTW. New favorite Pepper Mill and a new favorite Cocoa Powder. In addition to the Chili recipe, the Biscotti, baked eggs Florentine, and the Dacquoise look interesting.

*sigh*. Ok, now my issue was delivered, but it won't open because it thinks there is an update to the software....only the App Store assures me my program is up to date. Somehow IT and CI don't seem to be compatible.
