Thanks Amy, recipe copied along with the French Fry Recipe which I had somehow missed. Love the idea of making ahead and freezing. My kids love my homemade fries (double fry from JOC) but I like the blanch and freeze idea so will try that. I have a great FF cutter disc for my Cuisinart that makes the perfect size skinny fries. This is going to be fun. Can't wait for potatoes to go on sale.
PS, I use the Cuisinart in the same way to make one of my all time favorite foods, Malanga fritters, though purists say they must be grated by hand.

If hot I've never met a child who didn't like glazed carrots. My kids love cooked broccoli but not raw, one loves all the raw veggies mentioned before and one will only eat raw carrots. I've also never met a kid who didn't love caesar salad if you are looking for a salad idea.
