So can I even buy a vitamix in Switzerland? Google is my friend and, good news, YES I CAN. For only $775. Not gonna happen.

Two weeks ago I saw this thread and decided to take the plunge; after-all 'tis strawberry season!
After having fun with the creation of more calories that I really didn't need (yes it was AWESOME and I do have a propane torch!), I thought this recipe seems to lend itself to RASPBERRIES.
I like strawberries, but really enjoy raspberries ever since my trip to Solvang (another thread).
Remember to use lemon, and cook the berries with a cinnamon stick.
I followed "Brit's" recipe, just made the substitution to make Raspberry Creme Brûlée
I'm going to have the last of it now.

I also thought raspberries and then I thought mango. I think I would use the canned purée, the one you use for lassi.

Mary

PS I know a guy who has a restaurant and every time I go to the use I bring him back a crap load of Chicago steak seasoning from Penzey's. I asked him if he can get strawberry purée, he said yes and he thought I could get it at the super market. WTF? Is not the correct answer to that, "let me order you some Mary." it is not at the super market and I a m going to ask him to get me some when I come back in July with his pepper but it still kind of irks me. Rant finished.

I always just used the puree to make sorbet...I love mango lassi, never thought to use this to make it! I heart you, Mary!

An Indian guy told me to use it. It is much more intense and smoother than fresh mangos, especially since we don't get good mangos that often.
