Does anyone know if these can be baked ahead and frozen? Or assembled, frozen, then baked?
And on a side note, does anyone have a tried and true Lemon Bar recipe that can be frozen? I might try that instead as that's her preference. I'm making these as a gift for one of my assistants.
TIA
Nance

Ina's lemon bars are my favorites and they can be frozen. I also loved Joanne Chang's when I had them at Flour but have not made them at home.

I've always had really good luck freezing any lemon bar or lemon tart..I often make them in advance and freeze them when getting ready for an event.

Second cookie...totally freezable. As many things are...why do you think I have four freezers?

Made these for the 3rd time today and they really are divine. Only change I made was to reduce the sugar by about 2 tsp in the crust.
Russ and our 3 friends are LOVING them - not sure if there will be any leftovers!!!
