That tool looks interesting, but I think I'll try the chef's knife first and see how it goes. I've done it that way before, but always think someone must have a better, less messy , way of chopping....thanks again for your help. |

My wife also has that "tool" but finds it more useful in keeping me under control. A chef's knife is a more effective weapon. cc |

I use the chipper to break up a new block into chunks that can be managed with a knife, or that will fit well into the tempering machine. |
