A challenge for both you, Amy, and the author. I feel so badly for her. But I'm sure you'll rise to the occasion!

Sorry to hear about this, Amy. Good luck to you, and especially to Kelly, for her surgery.

I really wish I could be there....I know how wonderful the library program is in Telluride. The staff member I was working with ( from Mtn Village) was telling me that his kids spend all of their free time at the library. In any case, sounds like fun opportunity for you, but must feel like cramming for finals.

The most friggin' complicated cookie recipes (and didn't need to be) I've ever seen. It took me 9 hours to make six cookie recipes. WTF? I'm exhausted.

Amy Oh no. Maybe she did write all 8 of those amazon reviews herself. Sorry to hear no good deed is going unpunished in your leg of the woods. Maybe have a few of those drinks to ease your pain.

So after a long weekend catering, and this emergency bake session (which took WAY longer than I thought it would) I declined to attend the event. (I knew the publisher planned to stand in for the author, so didn't fret it if I wasn't there.) I understand the event was a huge success, and a number of people came up to Andy and complimented me. A number of people had also heard through the grapevine about the dinner I had done over the weekend. I think I've got a number of new business leads...
I'll take it.
