A lovelier fat could never be found My biscuits are so fluffy I want to eat it ever so much My thighs will soon be puffy
All kidding aside, the leaf lard from Dietrich's makes the the amazing biscuits EVER. I can only imagine the bliss of a pie crust made with it next week. Thanks for the source suggestion, Amy!

As Emeril says....pig fat rules! I love lard/butter combo crusts. Flakey, savoury goodness.
