I think I will make them and bake them before I get ready and then just rewarm them at the party. That seems the safest bet. I did want to arrive with a basket of warm biscuits but what the heck. I also used the phrase "basket of warm biscuits" just for Wino. You are welcome. :D

Biscuits rewarm fairly well in a low oven or even the microwave. I freeze fully cooked ones and nuke one at a time as needed. A single frozen biscuit is warm after about 35 seconds on high. I'd definitely precook and reheat, or just serve at room temp (still very tasty!).

If this had been published a few weeks earlier, bad advice from an idiot could have been avoided. I'm still not going to believe it until I have tried it.

Shamefully, the last entry regarding bicuits was 2013!

My parents were poor cooks and way too busy with we 3 fools but their drop biscuits, only on Sundays, were a TREAT!

The following link is the best short discussion on the science behind many biscuit types in general and includes links to 5 varieties. My BEST biscuit memory was at the Grand Floridian, DisneyWorld.

For Canucks it is 'tax season' (at least for us financial planners :o ) so this Sunday will be some biscuit treat. Now, it's off to the office...!!

I love biscuits, but have never been able to replicate the height or tenderness of my mom’s. I seem to make biscuit making a process, but wth 7 of us in the family, I think she must have made them quickly and unthinking!
