Oh lawdie, this is obviously going to be too scientific for my brain. For one thing, I bake the same recipes in different size pans all the time (like I'll double the recipe for tuxedo cake layers and then divide it among 8 and 9 inch pans). I'll check out those explanations though and glean what I can. Thanks!
