It wouldn't be for me. Too many different things going on - I don't want my cake and cookies mixed up together.

I agree! For some reason I don't think this looks very good. I don't know why, because I love both cake and cookies.

But you like them for their very different qualities. If I was doing a fancy plated dessert I might have layers of textures and flavors, but not these.
I could easily see doing this down at McMurdo and having people go wild for it.

I have to confess to not haivng a sweet tooth and this looks overwhelming to me. If you put a bowl of chocolate and a bowl of potato chips in front of me, I would inhale the chips and ignore the chocolate, so while I make lots of desserts (that seems to be my assignment for all dinner parties) I would never make this particular one. I do have a love of all things salty caramel though.

I'd eat it. With no caffeine, no alchohol, no drugs stronger than a regular-strength Tylenol for 7.5 loooooooong months, sugar is like crack to me now.
