Stopped at Wegman's on the way home from NYC. Their bread selection is like nothing around here. We bought kalamata olive rolls & rosemary rolls. Both were great. Can anyone point me to a recipe they use for either? Would like to use some whole wheat flour in the recipes. I have a fairly good cookbook collection, just don't know which recipes are good & easy. Haven't been making bread for a while.
Thanks
Kathy

Kathy,

I recommend Artisan Baking Across America by Maggie Glezer. There's a fantastic recipe for Kalamata Olive Bread, which I actually made with Sunny at her house, and Jerry loved it!

It also has Craig Ponsford's recipe for ciabatta, which is probably my favorite ciabatta recipe out there.

I'm sure others will be along with additional thoughts.

Not that Amy needs an affirmative 2nd opinion ;) but I do second this book and that recipe. Have the book and have also made the KOB. Delicious
