Nice. Wonder how he keeps the oatmeal from falling off (our achilles heel for multigrain bread)?

Also in his blog post is this:

I’m asking readers to bake bread. Take pictures and post them on my facebook page (this way there will be a collection of them in one place, and they’ll also go out to all your friends). I’d be grateful if you forwarded this post to bread baking blogs to begin a conversation, and to tell me what bread baking blogs you like so that I can create a good list of them in my blog links. This month I’ll be featuring bagels, gluten-free breads, a revised English Muffin recipe and more. (And don’t worry you non-bakers, I’ve got some protein posts as well. And maybe a rant. It’s been a while!)

You know, I never did understand why people had problems getting the oatmeal to stick on multigrain. I just brush the loaves with water and then turn them upside down on top of the oats. Plop them in the pan for proofing, and they've always stuck just fine for me.

Totally, totally agree! This loaf of bread reminds me of the breads often found at the Sullivan Street Bakery in NYC. Talk about phenomenal bread! I imagine that this bread tastes similar to the pan co'santi. Either way, it looks delicious. Here's a link to the bakery's website if you guys are at all interested:
