I agree and I will check with them. Being ceramic, etc. it should be higher.

How hot can a stove get anyway? I know SF gets super hot but what about simply scrambling/frying eggs? The nonstick I use (Calphalon) says it's good to 500 which I thought they listed because of using it in under broiler/oven.
