FWIW, I have Chicago Metallic Commercial cookies sheets and love them for cookies. I have 4 bought over the years and all perform well. I usually use exopap parchment (one per tray for entire batch) on them. Much prefer them to sheet pans for cookies. I have some great non-warp sheet pans, but no clue where I got them. The racks that go to them are CIA.

FWIW, as it happens, I just called Vollrath with a warranty question yesterday. I have 8 of their cookie sheets (b/c I always double-sheet my baked goods for at least half the baking time), and one of them had somehow gotten warped over time. I'd bought 2 of them within the past year, and the warranty is for 12 months. (Although truth be told, this could easily be one of my much older ones -- I use them so often I can't really tell the new ones from the old ones.) Anyway, the guy I talked with said he'd never heard of it happening before, and that he would be glad to send me out a replacement right away. He didn't even ask for my receipt or return of the defective one. So they may be pricey and heavy (the cookie sheets, not their staff ), but their customer service is awesome! Emilie

Speakin' of hijacks & hips - These photos came up in reverse order but the captions tell the story. Yesterday was day 14 and I mowed the lawn!! Such is the benefit of workin' out, doin' appropriate pre-op physio and having the anterior approach for a hip replacement. WONDERFUL

Wino, I am glad you are doing well after your surgery. I am also glad to see you mention the anterior approach. My husband and I are in the process of choosing a surgeon for his hip replacement. Some surgeons have told us the benefit of anterior approach is minimal (!), but we feel that doesn't make sense. I agree with you, also, about the pre-op physio! Best wishes. Lexy

Not wanting to continue this hijack, I have sent you a PM with more details. Frankly, I would say that any doctor that equates the two is very unfamiliar with the research re: anterior approach.
Now back to Wear Ever - I got my pans while in South Dakota and they work wonderfully. I also got the made-to-fit 'grill' that covers them and it is great!
