Congrat, Nance, finally got it to come up. Looks a lot like mine a little more hi stepin' though. Two years is a big technogap! Hope you love it and enjoy it. Word to the wise, dont' let them leave until they've calibrated the burners and oven. And even though it's self cleaning, get a silicone thing for the oven floor. Saves the self cleaning oven.
Thanks K! Unfortunately, Lowes isn't installing, just delivering and removing the old (both for free!). My Propane company is doing the unhook (day before) and hook-up (day after) the delivery. I'll ask if they can calibrate. But, there is a 1-yr warranty so if Lowes has to come back to calibrate, so be it. And thanks for the silicone tip too!

Perfect example of why I love this BB. Everyone is so very helpful and kind!

Old stove unhooked today, new one delivered tomorrow and it will be hooked up on Friday. I'm really looking forward to this new adventure even though I really loved my old stove. But, after 15 years it was showing many signs of wear and tear. My 5 burners are 17,000, 14,000, 9,500 (2) and 5,000 BTUs.

Now I just have to decide what to cook first!

I've barely used my new stove until today and, I think I'm going to love it! The past few weekends have been interrupted by Mother Nature so I've only used it to make hard boiled eggs. But today I made Russ one of his favorite meals (for his birthday): Balsamic-Braised Short Ribs, with Roasted Carrots with Balsamic-Browned Butter and Spaetzle. Dessert will be Chocolate Decadence.

I LOVE the quick boil burner and the pull-out bottom rack (slides out when you open the oven door!). My only issue is with the oven vent, which is under the oven controls on the top of the unit. I read about this as a con but didn't know what to expect. The vent really does expel alot of heat which vents over the burners. Perhaps if I was taller I wouldn't feel the heat as much since I'm quite to close the stove top (@ 5'0). But I'm sure I'll continue to adjust as I let go of the old and welcome the new. It's the "old dog/new tricks" dilemma.

I think it was a wise choice for us!
