I finally made enough room to put my KA ice cream bowl in the freezer today and then saw the references to Jeni's Salty Caramel Ice cream. So I had to find it and I found it here:

JENI'S SALTY CARAMEL ICE CREAM
Servings: 6
Yield: Makes about 1 quart
2 cups whole milk
4 tsps. cornstarch
1½ oz. cream cheese, (3 TBS.) softened
1/2 tsp. fine sea salt
1¼ cups heavy cream
2 TBS. light corn syrup
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsps. vanilla extract
Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Inactive Time: 4 hours and 30 minutes Total Time: 5 hours
