I looked for this thread on TOBB, but true to form, it had fallen into a black hole. Anyhoo, gonna buy me some Zeroll scoops. I think I will just get 2 (to begin with, anyway) -- 1 teaspoon (.32 oz.) for filling pierogi or making tiny meatballs for Italian Wedding Soup and 1 tablespoon (.53 oz.) for making cookies. I am, however, open to suggestion -- especially if those suggestions cost less than $19 per scoop. |

JB, I find that if you have a whole assortment of sizes up to the 1/3 cup full ice cream scoop, you find things to do with every size. |

It looks like Amazon has the same scoops as JB Prince. And I have a gift certificate for Amazon... Fuzzy -- Do you have stock in cookie scoops? |

I find I use the medium size ones the most (mine are numbered on the band - 30 and 40 are the ones I use most). The big ice cream scoop rarely gets used, and the small one (60?) not so much either. |

I ended up just getting the tiniest Zeroll. The Hamilton Beach ones were in the running, but I finally decided I'd be better off with a disher that I can squeeze with my whole hand rather than just my poor, suffering-from-too-much-Turok thumbs. I think that with the help of some lock-tight, I can get a bit more use from the tablespoon-sized Wilton, which I'll replace at a later date. Then I got a food mill. And a trashy novel. Even though I already had enough in my cart for free shipping. ![]() |
