I haven't used that one but I have one by Martha Stewarat which I love and use frequently. This one looks like it might be a little easier to use but Martha's was the first one I saw. fitzie |

Yup, I have that one and am not crazy about it. It forces you to peel away from you, you can't also peel towards. I know its a safety thing but I like to have the ability to do both. |

EB, I have a generic knockoff version of that. It works as advertised, although the julienne it gives me is a little fine for any recipes I'd use it in. More importantly, if you have to, say, julienne 3 carrots, it's going to take a long time doing them 5 strips at a stroke. I haven't thrown it out, though, it is useful sometimes. |

Thanks for the input. I am a peeler-pointed-away-from-me person so that is not an issue for me, thankfully. I am thinking for a quick addition to salads, and garnishes. It's in my Amazon cart, I'll report in on how I like it. |
