I agree - simple is better. Just get a heavy cast aluminum (I think that's the metal used) model. My favorite trick for tortillas is to use a plastic freezer bag to sandwich them (cut off all four sides so you have two pieces of the heavy plastic). It's more durable than plastic wrap and can be reused a few times; it also never sticks. |

Agree as well. Mine is heavy cast aluminum, and it works great. I think I bought mine at Surly Tab during our kitchen session in Chicago. Amy |

Agree with everyone else....As far as tortillas, don't use instant masa harina, use the original and......lard. It's much better tasting (but not for you.) |
