Has anyone "popped" for one of these? I keep seeing them and remember the wonderful popovers my mum-in-law made in a muffin pan. They aren't so expensive, but they would be another thing I'd have to find a spot for. Thoughts? |

I have one. It used to be used annually but can't remember the last time. I think it's living at my daughter's house now but wouldn't swear to it. They actually make lovely popovers but so does my cast iron muffin pan. fitie |

I always use a muffin pan...works great, so I'm not inclined to buy a "specialty" pan. Amy |

KSS, My sweetie makes popovers, and did spring for the high-heat circulation popover pan: http://www.cutleryandmore.com/chicago-m ... hwod5D4yfQ I don't know that it makes better popovers than her grandmother's cast aluminum muffin pan. But it does stick less. I just asked my sweetie: "If something happened to your popover pan, would you buy a new one?" She said: "yes." ... after a pause "... is something likely to happen to my popover pan?" |
