I have seen those somewhere before and did not have a clue what they were for. Live and learn!

Great for turning bacon, practiclly any kind of meat. Long enough to keep your hands out of the grease. May daughter has one and we made the first BLT's of the year last week. We cooked 4 pounds of bacon and tu rning it was easy peasy.

These come and go: used them in the 60s (something to make in shop class), saw them again in the urban cowboy era, again in the late 80s when I was more involved in real ranch and cattle stuff (very popular at BBQs when you are turning a lot of meat after branding. They are very quick, precise, and damn sharp!!! OUCH :!:

If you grill a lot, I would get one! I've never used one in the kitchen...

I got a set a while back as a gift. More useful then I imagined. And, indeed, very very sharp.
