I have now used this item for 6 months almost daily and am VERY impressed. Like the Paderno, it has the All-Clad exposed rivets inside the cooking area ( I HATE THIS), but it works marvelously. I used it for some pretty high heat cooking and it just keeps perfoming well. Highly recommended. |

Wino, We have a couple Kirkland skillets, and are pretty happy with them. We also have an Caphalon Essentials 12" nonstick skillet (was on extreme sale). This is a pretty good nonstick skillet in general, and is nice and heavy, with good heat dispersion, good durability and no tendency to warp. However, it has weird bumpy sides which make it hard to slide things out of, and its handle is way too narrow for such a heavy pan. Still, I'd buy it again for $20. |

Update - 10 months - One tiny corner of the skillet persists in being very difficult to clean. I cook scrambled eggs in it almost every day using a high temp spatula and wash with soap and a dish rag: IMHO - lovingly treated. NOT IMPRESSED! Picky, I know and, under more harsh conditions, understandable. Ah well.................. |
