I'm cleaning out the attic at my parents' and they have a fairly nice hoard of cast iron. I came across one pan that looks like an aebleskiver, but the depressions are too shallow. They look more like the divots in a hamburger bun pan. Any idea what this might be? :?

Is it like this?

That's a Dutch poffertjes pan.

So it makes slightly flatter fried batter disks?

The indentations are flat on the bottom like this.

Fuzzy,

Maybe, but it's round and has a handle which makes me think that it is meant for the stovetop.

JB,

I think you're going to have to post a picture of the actual pan.

I was at BB&B this afternoon, and I saw a pan like this. It was called a Silver Dollar Pancake Pan. Is it what you have, JB?
