I'd swear I asked this before, but I couldn't find it.
How do y'all clean the accumulated soot and polymerized grease off the inside of your oven window so that you can see through it again? Tips?

It's been awhile since I had an oven window, but I believe I used Krud Kutter.

I wonder if baking soda and coconut oil would work? It gets off adhesive like nobody's business. I need to try it on mine.

I haven't done this in a while but I used to open the door, spray on some 409 Cleaner and wait about 10 minutes. Follow that with a razor scraper and a paper towel. Always came clean.

I used some ceramic stovetop cleaner the last time I did mine. Worked like a charm using a bit of elbow grease and a paper towel.

I'm happy to say my natural solution worked for me. That and a metal scraper....

Wow, 6 replies, 6 different methods.
I guess I'll have to blindly pick one to start ...

Fuzzy,
Here's number seven--
Begin with a single edge razor blade. EZ Off Fume Free Oven Trigger is less caustic (SAFER!) than Dawn PD. You don't even knead rubber gloves.
