Having broken my latest Mickey Mouse Glove spoon holder, this is my 'latest & greatest':
I bought a pile of these at Home Outfitters and change as needed; they work great!

I use these:http://www.amazon.com/Dixie-Kabnet-Paper-Inch-Count/dp/B00BQWPWYK but I get them from Costco.
Works a lot better than a spoon holder and I just throw them away after.

Linda - I like the absorbency of the terry cloth and I don't mind washing them but that item seems quite useful in many ways; I will check at Costco this weekend. I note in the comments that Sam's Club has them for almost half of this price :!: :o

Linda, I love that paper but never thought to use it for a spoon rest.

Wino,

FWIW, I'm making some "sluggy" spoon rests in the studio. I expect them to be done in a few weeks.

Wino, let me know if you find them, I have not seen them at Costco in Ontario but maybe am not looking in the right place. Sam's Club, when they were here, had items like this. And some things that you could only order via the food court window oddly enough.

I have a silicone one that I like. Double size to hold two items if needed.

Cleans easily.
