Folks,
Someone has been sporadically trying to hack into this board to gain administrator access. They have not succeeded, but this does mean that periodically you may see a message on login that you have made too many login attempts and need to respond to a CAPTCHA as well as your password.
Given the intermittent nature of the intrusion attempts, there isn't much we can do about this. Sorry for the annoyance.

All,
BTW, if any of you have very simple, easy-to-guess passwords (like your middle name, or something based on your nick name, or "bacon"), it might be a good idea to change them. Make a new password which you can remember, but contains mixed case and/or punctuation marks. Here's some examples of good passwords (don't use these exactly, of course):
KitchenAid#1
sous|vide
LC&AC@SLT
buerre-blank
To change your password, go to:
Top of the screen --> user control panel --> profile --> Edit Account Settings

If they are dumb enough to come from a consistent IP, you can blacklist them on your firewall.

Fuzzy, FYI, I have had a bunch of log in trys when I am up skiing and using my little notebook computer. I don't always have or remember all my passwords so I try guessing.
I did not however try to get admin access (obviously!) but did have to retry my own a whole bunch of times.
