Post subject:  Ascending vs descending posts
Hi Fuzzy,
When I first signed up for the board, I think there was a choice to view posts from last to first or vice vs. (asending and descending). I think I checked the wrong way for this.....now the threads come up with the first post and I need to scroll or page over to get to the most recent ones. I tried to go back to my preferences to fix the way them come up, but could not find anywhere to make that choice again.

I've tried hitting the "view new posts" option, but still the whole thread comes up with the new post, and I again end up scrolling around to hunt for the new one.

Is this making sense? Any suggestions for veiwing more easily?

Lynn,

1. User Control Panel (link top of screen)

2. Board Preferences --> Edit Display Options

3. The options you want are "Display Topic Order Direction" and "Display Post Order Direction".

For what it's worth, there's also a link at the top of each thread to jump directly to the first unread post, and the little Image image to the left of the topic in the thread list will take you immediately to the first unread post in that thread.

If the thread in question doesn't have that image it means you have read all of the posts in that thread.
