Folks, The "people with book" image on the title bar to this BB is a free clipart image which has little to do with the board members or content. I'd really like someone to contribute an illustration we can legally use for the board, either drawn by yourself or open source or freeware. Requirements:
As a super-cool alternative to the above, if someone wanted to take a bunch of pictures of people cooking at the CI gatherings from 2004-2008 which would shrink well, and carefully crop and resize them to work with the required image size, I'd add a little code to the board to do something really cool. Have you checked Istockphotos? PS thanks for your tip last year about SmugMug. I've become a big fan of it! |

Y'all, Just in case the idea wasn't clear ... I'm looking for someone other than me to find, edit, crop, whatever, the photos. This is a community board, which means everybody can (and should) contribute to making it run. |

I don't have Photoshop and can't use it real well if I did. My late employer insisted I give the lap top with software! back. What I've got, on the theme suggested is where I pointed, feel free to use it, although I wouldn't try blackmail. |

I have a version of Photoshop and photos from a few events. PM me what you have in mind (what I lack is creativity) and I'll see if I can work something up. |

Fuzzy, Since your second acceptable example DID include photographs (albeit a composite) please consider this photo of my friends and myself at our annual cassoulet cook-off. http://www.flickr.com/photos/24748531@N00/?saved=1 It includes many desireable elements: cooks, kitchen, tools, product, and wine! It should reduce well (1.4 MB as is) and still hold detail. |
