They're as good as just about any other Sandforce-based SSD out there (which is to say they come out on or near the top in pretty much every test). Any SSD based on the Sandforce 1200/1500 controller is going to be tops, and Sandforce has just introduced the 2200/2500 controller which is even faster (but hasn't really had time to show up everywhere yet).
SSDs have only one Achilles' heel, and that is lots of tiny random writes, but it is getting to the point where even their slowest weakness is fast enough to compete with mechanical drives.
Just keep in mind...SSDs can still fail. You should still make backups.
