The celebebrity chef, host of NBC's Minute to Win It and three hit Food Network shows mixes the best elements of a live cooking show with the fun of a variety revue, and the non-stop adrenaline rush of a rock concert. Interactive cooking stations, secret tips and dishes from his latest book, and more are delivered with signature Fieri zest!
Special VIP packages
"Off Da Hook" package ($252) includes premium onstage seating; a chance to sample the food prepared by Fieri; tour laminate; copy of forthcoming cookbook Guy Fieri Food; a pre-show meet and greet with Fieri and more. Must be age 21 or older to purchase this package.
"Kulinary Krew" package ($152) includes : prime orchestra seating; tour laminate; copy of Guy Fieri Food; pre-show meet and greet with Fieri and more.
I wonder how many tickets they will sell? Midland is full of Chemists and Engineers because of Dow Chemical, so they really enjoyed Alton Brown. I'm not sure what the response will be for Guy Fieri.

People actually PAY to watch him?
I dislike his TV persona, but I read an article about him that indicated he was not as much of a douchebag as one would think. He apparently worked very hard starting a couple of restaurants and is a generous person, treats his employees fairly, etc. But I still don't care for his shows and sure wouldn't pay $252 to see him.

I'm with Darcie, I find the guy annoying, but I'm glad to hear he's a good boss.

I liked his first show and what he made but the rings give me the heeby geebies. Some of the triple D places are quite interesting, but there's a lot of heart attack on a plate food in those shows. What I like about it is he makes a big deal about real cooking and real food at those places, which is always nice to see. My kids love Minute to Win It.
