I have just decided to have a midlife crisis as I feel it is due me (on the off chance I make it to 100). Mine doesn't involve food but I am getting a Mini convertible in the next week or so.

Not a lot of difference between November and June in Switzerland, weather-wise... ;)

(We ran into a foot of new snow on the mountains near Lucerne in June 2006)

Sadly not a great country for convertibles but, on the plus side, whenever it is sunny it is also generally warm.

BTW, in the realm of Chinese food reading, I strongly recommend The Fortune Cookie Chronicles. It'll teach you more about American Chinese Food than you ever wanted to know ... and is very well written.
