for Posterity.
I've always wanted to say that.

Works like a charm, but the Cook's Country link only does recipes from the TV show.

We need to find the url for printing recipes for Cooks Country so we can see where to insert the recipe ID.
Maybe somebody here can post one.

Todd, All,
I don't know if it's OK to have the above information on this board. Even if BCP hasn't been the best-run business in the world, distributing instructions on how to bypass their subscription requirements seems ethically questionable.
What do other people think? Am I being prudish?

I was also thinking about the ethical implications, which is why I'm not going to tell how I managed to use the information to also access CC's recipes. On the other hand, I'm not going to stop doing it, either, so it's not like I have any moral ground to stand on. Can't really justify it, won't even try.

Todd,
It's a community board, so I want to have other people's opinions. I'm not sure how I feel about it, really. Part of me feels like, if CI coded their website that stupidly, they deserve what they get.

My guess is that would be safer (or less bad karma) to post the technique without posting the direct URLs.
First you do something regarding the document ID. Then you do something regarding the print format page.
Security through obscurity....

Well, isn't it sorta kinda like cutting out recipes from a magazine or lifting them from Epi? As I understand the laws on on this (from another board) as long as you aren't using the recipes or info to profit you are all good.
