For the last three years, I paid $24.95 for my online subscription. I just received my renewal notice and they want to charge me $34.95. I don't think so. |

Seems like there are a lot of different sub prices out there. I paid $26.95 last fall for website renewal. So far, it's still worth it for me, and less than the cost of a bad restaurant meal. |

Evedently I'm a "prefered customer"  I got an e-mail offering a one yr. sub for $29.95. It did not say what the regular cost was. Then yesterday I got a phone call again I am a "prefered customer" (I'm feeling so special) haucking a companion book and I would get a copy of soups and stews. When I said I had soups and stews I was told that this was a little paper magazine style issue. I tell them I'm not interested in another mag with recipes I already have. I grilled him about whether I would be put on that auto ship thing again and he said yes I would. I quickly said good bye it took a year to get them to stop sending cookbooks at will. They are getting more aggresive that's for sure.Laurie |

Hmmm.....I must not be 'preferred'. I never got a renewal offer. They just shut me off when my subscription ran out. I don't understand this - I've auto renewed for several years. Looks like they made the decision for me! |

All, Sounds like CI is still having fulfillment issues. This seems to be a chronic problem with them; BCP exercises very poor choices of vendor in general (website company, etc.) and then sticks with the vendor despite obvious screw-ups. I think it just shows Chris's lack of attention to the details of business. If the big boss doesn't care, why should anyone else? |

Haven't renewed for a couple of years now, and while I miss the fun of getting the new mag and reading it, I can get access to the recipes I want by visiting the library and copying them. Or picking up a given issue because it sounds interesting. I hadn't reliably made at least one dish from every issue for quite a while. |
