This has absolutely nothing to do with cooking...
Labor Day weekend is the Telluride Film Festival. In town (or rumored to be coming) are George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Glenn Close, Peter Weir and many others.
This same weekend is the wedding of David Lauren (son of Ralph) and Lauren Bush (niece of President Bush) at Ralph Lauren's 16K ranch. The first President Bush will be here, and it's believed George W. will also be attending.
So the town is teeming with celebrities, wannabe celebrities, political types and secret service.
I just hope some of them come into the restaurant for dinner!

You need to keep us apprised of any celebrity sightings. The only "celebs" I ever get to see are government agency heads and (rarely) cabinet secretaries. Not exactly swoon worthy.

If Dubya & Laura show up they are very approachable and friendly. We work at his ranch here, and it is not unusual for him to come out and just hang out with the worker bees and talk to them. He looks so relaxed now...go figure.
