Today I went to my favorite meat, store Ebel's. It's in a little town called Foulmouth. They sell everything from garden equipment and plants to groceries and clothing. I go for the meat which they raise, butcher and smoke themselves. They have a smoke house out back and on any given day you can smell meat smoking. The cattle are accross the street and some days you can smell them too if you know what I mean. I went for their advertised special Prime Top Sirloin for $3.99 a pound. I also get Choice NY strips for $2.99. This is the only place I buy my steaks. The quality is fantastic and the price can't be beat. Today they had made something I've not seen before pickled polish sausage. My husband loves pickled bologna so I bought a 1/2 gallon jar of the PPS for $5.99. I also bought a big huck of canadian bacon they home cure, anyone have idea's on ways to use this besides breakfast meat? They had old fashion smoked ham's for .99 a pound, I wanted to buy one, but they were like 25lbs each and way to big for the two of us. It was all I could do to walk away from them.. ![]() Laurie |

I should have picked you up a jar! I've never seen it there before. They had a rolling cart with about 4 shelves in the middle of the meat dept. full of it. You could smell it as you walked by. I'll let you know how it is. Foulmouth is only about and hour and a half from you. I drive a 35 minutes to get there myself. Laurie |

I forgot to mention that when I was there a couple of weeks ago, I picked some up and it was very good. |

I'm getting ready to make an Ebel's run for a tenderloin for Christmas dinner. Glad you liked the PPS Todd. Laurie |
