Long story short. I ordered Veal Parmigiana tonight at an Italian restaurant. The Veal was like shoe leather. I call the waitress over and hand her the plate and tell her that it isn't good and to just charge me for a spaghetti dinner. Mind you I was being generous, because the portion of spaghetti was a little more than a side portion and not a whole dinner. She brings me the check and they charge me for a Baked Spaghetti dinner which is $1.50 more than a regular dinner. I tell her I am not paying this much for this dinner. The owner who is also the cook comes to my table and asks me what's wrong and then tells me that there was nothing wrong with the veal. We have a five minute discussion which I can't believe we had. To sum it up, these people are idiots and needless to say they just lost 5 customers which they can't afford to lose, because on this Friday night during the time that we were there, they had a total of 9 customers, not counting the 5 of us. Just amazing! |

Todd, It's been my experience that most bad restaurantiers are bad because they don't know they're bad. It's the classic definition of incompetence: when you don't know what you don't know. |

Good restaurants never charge for a meal a customer is not happy with, even when they don't agree with the customer. I have had them comp the entire meal. So did you end up paying the higher price? Laurie |

I only paid for a spaghetti dinner which was still too much for the portion that I received. |
