Only $49 minimum order. I'm getting a few of my usual basics but am also going to try the Vermont cheese powder. It's got a ton of great reviews and figured if nothing else, it'll be good on popcorn. Emilie |

Let me know how you like it. I bought some, but haven't found a way to use it yet. |

Alina, I'm definitely not creative as far as coming up with uses on my own for specialty ingredients. (With the exception of KAF's vanilla butternut and Fiori flavorings.) But one thing in the reviews that caught my eye in addition to shaking it on popcorn is adding it to eggs. I virtually never ate eggs in any form (other than baked/cooked inside something) until a recent attempt to eat a healthier breakfast and get more protein into my diet. So I'm thinking they would be a nice addition to scrambled eggs. And also when I make white rolls or scones that a cheese flavor would be nice in (of course I didn't come up with that either -- it was also in the reviews). Emilie |

It makes good mac and cheese, too. |

Emilie, vanilla butternut? I love the fiori, use almost every time I bake, the princess cake flavor. I also bought all the flavors of the powders when they had pineapple, orange and lime in addition to lemon and have used those when I was lazy (in combo with the oils instead of peel). I just placed a small order got pumpernickel flour and 9 grain flour, crock and starter, easy roll dough improver (I'm pie crust challenged) and vital gluten. I'm reorganizing my pantry and will have a whole extra shelf when I move the cookbooks out. So I bought a variety of glass jars to store my flours, etc. Getting ready for Christmas baking. BTW, I was going to buy the KAF organic ap flour since I'm completely out of unbleached ap, but found that it was only a few cents more from Vitacost, so I'll get it from them to get to free shipping there. It will get here a lot faster as well. |

Cubangirl wrote: Emilie, vanilla butternut? Oh my gosh, Alina, the vanilla butternut is amazing! I love the fiori too when I want that citrusy-vanilla "umph." But for almost everything else I add some drops of the vanilla butternut along with the regular vanilla called for. It definitely takes my baked goods, waffles, etc. up a notch! Emilie |

Thanks Emilie. I was imagining squash, lol. I found you can make your own using 1/3 each butter flavor, almond emulsion and vanilla. I have lots of the last 2, so I'll just get some butter flavor. Just placed my KAF order so it will be a long while till I order again. |
