Anyone doing Mexican for tommorrow?
I was gonna try a couple recipes from the new Saveur; probably the enchiladas with beans and rice.

I wasn't until you mentioned it. I'll probably do enchiladas as well...along with margaritas.

um, we're having pizza. From a local grocery store that has a woodburning brick oven, it's really good, convenient and on sale on Thursdays. Then we're going in different directions with a child each, I'm going to a coffee house/art exhibit at older son's school and hubby is taking other son to hockey. Am guessing there won't be beer at either location.

I think I'll trot down to the local restaurant for takeout. Sounds like a plan to me.

I made fajitas which, in my house, is Mexican for "anything I feel like frying up and sticking in a tortilla." No drinks 'cause we had to be fast, fast, fast and then drive various children to various places and back again. I think tequila shots are in the works for the Seis de Mayo.

Y'know, now that I think about it, I DO have a bunch of lemons and limes in the fridge, and someone gifted me a bottle of reposado a couple months ago. hmmmmmmm.
