Hey, Happy Mother's Day everybody! We're going to see Geekboy's Mom today -- her girlfriend is putting on a little brunch for us. She wanted to know if we'd ever had such exotic Jewish specialties as bagels with lox. I think she was a little disappointed that we had so she's throwing a kugel in there, too.
Have a good one!

JB,
I'm glad our mothers are 1000's of miles away. Our stove/oven died: the gas valve rusted through and the landlord thinks it'll be easier to replace than to fix (the stove is older than I am). So a darned good thing I wasn't planning on a mother's day brunch.
Mind you, I did find this out when our guests last night were on their way over. So now I have $20 of wild-caught cod sitting in the fridge I can't cook.

Darice,
I suppose so. But I already stuck it in the freezer.
