I dunno, there's at least two options in there which involve stuffed fake-meat soy products.

Personally, I rather make my own vegan food. Purchased seems to taste like damp basements to me. fitzie

JB,
Yeah, but most of the rest of the meal is the sort of health-conscious self-punishment food I often associate with veganism. That menu, in general, really seems like an argument against veganism; I can't imagine why it was recommended to you.

I know plenty of vegetarians who like food, but I've never met a vegan who really did. Okay, I have heard of one or two, but I think they're pretty thin on the ground, y'know?

Wegman's is nearly always in a college town. And they eat vegetarian/organic stuff. We also have a large SDA population here, too.

JB,
I know a few Vegans who like food, but I agree they're a rare breed. You pretty much have to live somewhere like San Francisco or Portland (or, as it turns out, Sydney).

I think the vegans I know who love food are all from India. Not so much the North Americans who embrace it as a health-related lifestyle. That seems to be a different culture all together.
